The Ethical Sourcing Program is a set of commitments, actions and measurable targets that are designed to support businesses with regulatory reporting and achieve additional goals that can contribute to an organisations Corporate Social Responsibility plans.
We believe Procurement plays an important role in addressing the planet’s growing sustainability concerns. Therefore the NARTA Ethical Sourcing Program has three big goals to achieve, underpinned by six commitments and targets spanning our social, environmental and economic performance. We will continue to work with our members and suppliers to drive change and support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This program is designed to complement existing sourcing processes and provide customized annual reporting based on program participation.
These metrics and goals have been aligned with member requirements, International standards and further grows our focus on best in class Procurement processes and leading SRM methodology.
We believe that through working together for these mutual outcomes we can make a difference delivering value beyond savings. We can’t solve every problem but we can certainly do our bit.
